# Connecting Casinos

> Learn how to add, manage, and remove sweepstakes casino connections in Sweeps.

## Adding a Casino

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Sweeps extension">
    Click the Sweeps icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Add Casino">
    Select the **Add Casino** button from the main dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a casino">
    Browse or search the list of 50+ supported casinos. Click on the one you want to connect.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your credentials">
    Provide your existing login credentials (email/username and password) for the casino site. If you don't have an account yet, you'll need to create one on the casino's website first.

  <Step title="Verify the connection">
    Sweeps will attempt a test login to verify your credentials. Once verified, the casino appears in your connected list with a green status.

<Warning>
  You must already have an account on the casino site before connecting it to Sweeps. Sweeps does not create casino accounts on your behalf.

## Managing Connections

### Connection Status

Each connected casino shows a status indicator:

| Status          | Meaning                                          |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| 🟢 Active       | Connected and collecting bonuses normally        |
| 🟡 Attention    | Requires action (e.g., password change, CAPTCHA) |
| 🔴 Disconnected | Unable to log in — credentials may be outdated   |

### Updating Credentials

If a casino shows a yellow or red status, you may need to update your credentials:

1. Click on the casino in your connected list.
2. Select **Update Credentials**.
3. Enter your new login information.
4. Sweeps will re-verify the connection.

### Pausing a Casino

You can temporarily pause collection for a specific casino without removing it:

1. Click on the casino in your connected list.
2. Toggle **Auto-Collect** off for that casino.
3. Toggle it back on when you're ready to resume.

## Removing a Casino

To disconnect a casino from Sweeps:

1. Click on the casino in your connected list.
2. Select **Remove Casino** (or the trash icon).
3. Confirm the removal.

<Note>
  Removing a casino from Sweeps does not affect your account on the casino site. Your casino account remains active and unchanged.
